One of the questions we asked our staff was "How do you feel about our school's current focus on "building community through mathematical learning"?  and  "How might we further build on our current focus?".

Of 27 staff responses, 21 had a positive tone regarding continuing our goal for the 23/24 school year.

Examples of these responses include:

- "Really great discussions and ideas have been shared.  Excited to learn more!"

- "I think it is a good plan to foster an interest and enjoyment of math"

-"I think that this school focus is a valuable goal.  I wonder how we can build a strong foundation to support students as they explore mathematical ideas?  I would like to learn more about how to build foundational knowledge?"

- "These whole school math community events are fun, but maybe more ideas for how to include parents more regularly in their child's math learning?"

- "I have noticed that the children are very engaged and that it shows them that math is a variety of activities and not jst computations.  That it can be fun!"
