What are our students telling us?
We are in the midst of doing our final round of data collection for this academic year. Students are one more time answering our questions of focus:
What are you learning about?
What are the Big Ideas?
Why is what you are learning important?
Where do you get your ideas?
In classrooms where intentional language is used, students are increasingly able to answer these questions and in the fall, the staff will look closely at the student responses in order to determine next steps for our inquiry. Children understand how they're doing with their learning when they can restate proficiency scales in their own words!
