PARENT ADVISORY COUNCIL WEEKLY UPDATE
DECEMBER 4, 2009
Hello everyone,
This week:
- The French Book Fair is going on this week and next week. A lot of great French books for primary and intermediate levels are on sale.
- Caroline Bhullar is delighted to announce that 225 from our Anderson community have signed up to come to Breakfast with Santa on December 11, 8am to 8:45am!! Thank you so much to those of you who have already said you’ll help Caroline with the organizing, and to anyone else who is interested, please contact her at lolachanell@hotmail.com.
- Reminder about the Family Skating Party, Minoru Arena, Tuesday, December 15, 5:30pm to 7pm. Please remember to turn in your skating form by Thursday, December 10. I’ll distribute tickets to your oldest child before the event.
- Let’s support Madame Wilson’s class’ December project, and send along a Food Bank item with your child. The class’ goal is to collect 1000 items for the Richmond Food Bank. The items can be dropped off by the gym. Every 5 items brought by a child gives him/her the opportunity to put his/her name in a draw for a prize.
- Next PAC meeting on Monday, December 7, 7pm in the Staff Room. Hope to see many of you there!
